If I spend much more time with you More time watching, listening, close to you Then I might just fall in love with you But then what would we do? If you spend much more time with me Become accustomed to my company Do you think you might fall for me? But then where would we be? Cos I could never say a word Even if I did you'd have to pretend you never heard We would have to do whats right Keep it so polite So I can never let you know Must never let it show Cos if I were ever to let go This whole damned thing might blow If I fell in love with you Despite my best intentions not to And if you should ever fall for me too Then what would we do?
